Course Breakfast, Drinks, Snack
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh Pineapple
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp maca root powder thinly sliced
- 2 tsp ginger for garnish
- 2 tsp noni powder
- 1 cup almond milk (gum free, no sugar)
- 1/2 cup coconut yogurt
- ice cubes as and if desired
Freeze a few fresh bananas the night before. This makes a nice texture. Fresh bananas works as well. Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
If using fresh pineapple and mango, peel and chop them into small chunks. If using frozen fruit, you can skip this step.
Place all ingredients in the blender.
Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. If desired, you can add a few ice cubes to make the smoothie colder and thicker.
Pour the tropical smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
